Power Bimini Actuator Drive Nut Replacement Kit
Before Step 1, Remove your Bimini frame from the actuators by watching the
instructional video below.

Once the Bimini frame is removed follow these steps to remove the actuator.
*Note the wiring colors on the motor terminals.
Kit Includes
1 - Brass Actuator Nut
2 - Replacement Motor Mounting Screws
1 - Red High Temp Grease
Instructions
Step 1-
Remove the end cap and unplug wires from the terminals.(noting wire color locations)
Remove the two bolts from underside of rail.
Step 2-
Remove one screw on top and one screw on bottom of actuator. (5/32 Hex)
This releases the motor inside the housing.
Step 3 -
Lift up and lightly tap the rear housing of the actuator and the motor and gear rack will come
out. Mark the top of the motor for re-assembly.
Step 4 -
Remove the gear rack off of the drive spindle.
Step 5 -
Clean the threads of the drive spindle and then lightly lubricate it with supplied grease.
Step 6 -
Replace the brass nut on the gear rack and screw onto the drive spindle about half way.
Step 7 -
Insert (motor side first) into the rear of the actuator with the motor top side up.
Step 8 -
Re install top and bottom screws (see step 2)
Step 9 -
Re install bolts from the underside (see step 1)
Step 10 -
Reconnect wires to repaired actuator. Remove front cap and one wire from the other actuator.
Step 11 -
Press and hold the retract button to bring the gear rack to the front of the assembly.
Step 12 -
Reattach the other actuator wire and replace caps on both actuators.
Step 13 -
Reattach the actuator arm and reinstall the Bimini frame (opposite of removal).
